Conference Design
A fictitious conference that elicits themes of self-identity; creating a platform where educators, parents, and influencers can learn about the importance of fostering spaces where adolescent identities can be explored.
This project presented an opportunity to draw visibility towards issues negatively impacting adolescent development such as bullying, mental health, and toxic masculinity. Our primary focus was to imagine a space where we could confront stereotypes through healthy guidance and conversation.
The quotation marks serve as the pinnacle graphic to this conference. They deliberately represent conversation, a significant driver for change. We found that we could only begin to normalize certain topics through conversation.
Societal labels and systems of categorization have instituted biases that have been learned over time. The only way bias can change is by, us.
