Visual Identity & Print Design
Passionfruit is a coalition of designers who practiced curiosity through creative means by not only utitlizing skills developed over our design education, but also while exploring new and familiar materials during unprecedented times.
Our team was insistent on creating an experience that demonstrated the use of design skills through a different lens, and offer physical memorabilia to the loss of our in-person showcase. Passionfruit derives from the persistence to "bear fruit" without the stability of a physical studio space, our cohort, and friends.
I screen printed T-shirts and tote bags with illustrations I created without having prior experience to screen printing. Due to restrictions caused by COVID-19, I made a print studio within the limitations of my own home.
I created all of the motion graphics and product thumbnails displayed on our website; owning the responsibility of photographing and editing my own product images.
Despite the circumstances faced during this time, we sought resilience through craft, persisting to create during unprecented times. Through this project we raised over $2000 towards non-profit organizations that work to support black communities.
Passionfruit yielded exposure toward a foundation that would last our entire creative careers, honing the ability to never stop learning, creating, or exploring.
